The Urban Advisory set the scene by highlighting the potential for new solutions for living in Uptown, after which we heard from Blair & Julie McKinnon who with

have created a "sustainable, affordable and joyful new way to live". Jade Kake, director of
Matakohe Architecture + Urbanism
closed the evening by discussing using a kaupapa Māori approach to urban design and architecture, and what this can enable.
