Another Year, Another Successful AGM...

Uptown’s 2026 AGM:

A community coming together

Uptown’s 2026 Annual General Meeting brought together a fantastic turnout of local businesses,  community representatives, and esteemed guests for an evening of connection, reflection, and looking ahead.

Hosted at the iconic Webb’s Auction House on Tuesday 20 October, the evening offered members a special opportunity to step inside a much-loved local destination. Coinciding with the final day of Webb’s The Estate | Design Edit Auction, guests could explore a beautiful collection of furniture, art, and even a motorbike, making for a setting that was distinctly Uptown.

The evening was a true community affair, with wonderful hospitality from the team at Normanby Fine Wines, who ran the bar, alongside delicious food from Sabato. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so welcoming.

Alongside catching up with familiar faces and meeting fellow members, the AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on a year of significant progress for Uptown. From placemaking and public art to local events, destination marketing, and the opening of Maungawhau station, the past year has seen plenty of momentum across the precinct.

Looking ahead, Uptown remains focused on championing local businesses, creating a more vibrant and connected neighbourhood, and making the most of the opportunities ahead for our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us
, contributed to the discussion, and continues to support Uptown. Your participation and enthusiasm are what make our business community so special.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to Webb’s, Normanby Fine Wines, and Sabato for helping make the evening such a memorable occasion. We’re looking forward to another year of working together to make Uptown a great place to work, visit, and do business.
