The French Café is a partnership between husband and wife team, Sid Sahrawat, executive chef and Chand Sahrawat operations manager. They are assisted by restaurant managers Matt Keegan and Pierre Guillot and sommelier Hiro Kawahara.
Sid and Chand Sahrawat bought the iconic French Cafe in September 2018 from its previous owners. They intend to honour the more than 20 year old legacy handed over to them and maintain the high standards of food and service The French Cafe has become known for.

The French Cafe is an independently owned, family run business, just like Sid and Chand's other renowned restaurant Cassia. The couple also formerly owned Sidart restaurant for 12 years before handing it over to their head chef Lesley Chandra in September 2021."T
